Comedian, actress, writer, host and producer Chelsea Handler began her career in 2002 on Oxygen’s hidden camera practical joke show, Girls Behaving Badly — the world’s introduction to her brash, unapologetic and pleasantly vodka-soaked and vulgar style. From there Handler landed at E! where she hosted the Chelsea Handler Show and Chelsea Lately before moving to Netflix for a docu-series and then talk show. Now, galvanized she says by the election of Trump, she's using her platform for activism. "My goal is to be better informed, raise my voice, and participate in a more meaningful way,” she says. This means directing her energy toward speaking with and learning from those of differing political leanings, fighting for women’s rights, including working with EMILY’s List to get more elected women to positions in pubic office, and campaigning for supportive candidates.
